Q: What will my home inspection include?
A: We start with your roof line and work our way down to the foundation, checking everything in between including electrical, plumbing, heating/air conditioning, hot water tanks, structure, insulation, ventilation, basements, crawlspaces, attics and much more. Click here for details.
Q: Why do I need a home inspection?
A: Buying a home is a huge investment, and it is important that you protect it. Unforeseen problems with any property you are considering purchasing can end up costing you down the road. A professional home inspection will help you buy with more confidence and control.
Q: Should I attend the home inspection?
A: We recommend it. Your inspector can show you any areas of concern, safety precautions for the furnace, hot water tank and electrical panel, and the location of all water and gas shut-off valves. But the job of the home inspector is not only to point out potential negatives, but also the positive features that can add to your new home’ resale value.
Q: What type of report will I receive, and when?
A: We will email you a comprehensive report the same day as your home inspection.
It’s easy to understand, broken down room by room, and includes a summary page and photos. Recommended actions are offered. For a sample report, click here.
